Happy New Year! 🎉🎆

We have had a couple of busy weeks in room 60! It is hard to believe that we are approaching the halfway mark in kindergarten. WOW! I love to reflect with the kids on the progress they have made thus far. They make me so proud!
Last week we were lucky to have done some fun crafts to liven up our bulletin boards. On Wednesday, Eli’s mother designed a beautiful winter bulletin board titled, “Reach for the Sky in 2018.”  The children cut out their outlined arm and hand and decorated the cutout. The board looks amazing!

On Wednesday, Mrs. Hauke brightened up our classroom with an amazing 3 D snowman. The kids made the sweet little birds!

We ended the week with a wonderful conversation about Martin Luther King Jr.. I was truly amazed at the thoughtful insight these young minds shared. Teaching compassion and tolerance is something I feel so strongly about.

Please ask your child about the conversation we had about the eggs. The pictures will make more sense to you once you chat with them!
